LOVE

by Victoria Nojang   Mar 16, 2012

LOVE,
I hear the soft screams
Screams of desire
I grant that I love thee
My heart is weakened by thee
Thy touch inflames me
Thy kiss tortures me
For when thy tongue
Meets mine on a one to one combat
My heart explodes
A burning uncontrollable passion
Seizes me
And I thread the path of
Deadly temptation
My body sizzles at thy touch
My head spins
At each mention of thy name
I solemnly wish
I could cast thee away
Be free from the entanglement
But my heart honors not
My wishes
That icy glare of yours
Penetrates deep into my soul
I wish I can make a solemn
Decision to leave thee
To erase the printed name of thee
From my brain, heart, mind
And soul
But I can't
Cause I love thee
