Now this is a beautiful write.
I like how you incorporated the images of sipping coffee and all the terms related to it.. from the tip of the tongue and the cup and perspiring thru it. it makes me think that it makes you ponder.... and in the end, I felt there was a religious side to it, it is shown in the word 'mercy' ?
