Like a guitar

by Banell   Mar 31, 2012

I wish to play you like a guitar
run my fingers through your heart
it may feel a little bizarre
As I tune every erotic part

Beyond frets and strings
I'll tirelessly run your scales
and play every major chord until
the minors took the bait

Under the milky twilight
you and I, making sweet sounds
With perfect verses and romantic rhymes
We'll pitch higher as every strike counts

So let's go jazzy
perhaps we may not enjoy the pace
of blues, rhythm and classic, so no stopping
'til our hearts scream out in perfect ecstasy
