Endless Abyss

by Kitty Kurse   Apr 4, 2012

I closed my eyes as reality slipped from my finger tips.
It was like I was drowning,
It burned to breathe;
to be alive.

It was almost as if I was falling into an endless Abyss.
Colors fading from blue,
to green,
going deeper to dark green,
then black.

I felt like I was coming to an end,
and before I blacked out I said, "You never know what you have till you've lost it."

    "You never know what you have till you've lost it."

    Isn't that soooo true...
    your use of describing the way you feel, like falling through and abyss was excellent.
