Those eyes

by Special K   Apr 9, 2012

His eyes so empty and blank.
I reach out but he always draws back.
As if stung.
My only wish is to heal him.
Of the wounds he endured long ago.
That haunt him even now.
His skin so pale and cold.
Again those eyes they stun me so.
Were is the life? The laughter?
That should be filling those lifeless eyes.
I speak but he does not hear.
I tug but he does not move.
Will I ever be able to make him feel again?
It is my only dream that those empty eyes will be full.
That he may move, hear and love.
I must work hard.
Then maybe someday those blue eyes shall sparkle with joy.
