Edges

by beapolkadot   Apr 15, 2012

We're standing at an ending of an edge
I'm tilting, toppling, toward tearful tumbles
We'll wash wistful wonders down the drain
Let me fall forwards. Fumbling fast forgetting
To stop, staring, a second to succumb to you
I'm dying, drowning, down deep under the edge

We're standing at an ending of an edge
You're young, youthful, yearning for your free years
But, I'm bashful, blushing, born with beauty blocking reality
Acquired a taste for affection, accustomed to admiration
Let me love you longer that lust and life
I'm dying, drowning, down deep under the edge

We're standing at an ending of an edge
No longer will I get kicked, knock down, kneel to you, my King
I've vied for you, venerating your vigilance.
Jump off with me. Just stop judging what people think.
You couldnt. Your core convinced you to stay like concrete.
I'm dying, drowning, down deep under the edge
