Stairs

I feel like im up in the sky

like i am stuck there can't move

im wanting to get down and walk

i wanna strech my legs

i wanna run damnit!

from letting too many people in

im afraid now to give that one special person me

i am afraid because i am a strong willed person

i like to open my own door and yell when i feel like it

i do not walk on egg shells to please no more

i am afraid of running away like i have been

i can't get down from the clouds

and the only way for me not to be afraid of you

you have to make stairs and lead yourself

up to me, so i can understand and believe in you

i am not afraid of you, i am afraid of myself

your too good to be true

only a woman with no brains would give up on you

i need a staircase to you, and only you

no cracks, no broken stairs gental and understanding

stairs, that my dear will be the only way for our survival.
