Marine story

by curtis kotrch the silent tears of of my heart   May 5, 2012

Gunshots flaming mortars raining i grip my rifle tighter than ever before i know my enemy could be inside this very door i breath steadily knowing it could be my last i kick in my door and blast away my past i wish i never had to be in this war but i do what I'm told the US government has its hold on me i now see that there's nothing good in it but I'm a solitary instrument of war.
