I'm just Here

I'm not some angel from above,
No warrior princess, no cupid of love.

I'm not the sunshine after the rain,
Not the light that shines to erase your pain.

I'm not the all and everything you've search for,
Not the fighter or lover you'd save and gladly die for.

But as long as you need me, you know I'm here
And though ignored much, you know I'm always near.

For I may not be the fighter or warrior you wished from a star,
But our battles are countless and we survived all so far.

For I may not be the sunshine or light you've been searching,
But I'm a message away... rain or shine, smiling or hurting.

And I may not fit your very line "I'd die for you",
But I'd rather not meet death and be with you.

I know I'm not the song, the voice you'd love to hear...
But as long as you need me, you know I'm just here...

    Very romantic and sweet. i like the way you expressed your feelings here..the imagery are brilliant.
