Now That Your Gone

by Tyler Moore   May 24, 2012

I look to the trees,
begging them
to lend me their strength
to burden this storm.

I look to the seas
and ask them,
so desperately,
to lend me a basin for my tears.

I touch the ground,
pleading with it
to take you as is,
as He took you from me.

I look to the skies,
to think how foolish I could be,
to have ever asked God
what he can do for me.
