The lover

by Reggie   May 28, 2012

The lover i had

was a tad bit mad

i was so glad

we thought we were a fad

a ridiculous tandem

people said curse them

A little while later

the gash of a wound withers

a pool of crimson appears

the womans voice then cheers

while i run from my fears

a woman cackles in my ears

she stole myself from me

something that cannot be returned

the swell in my chest burned

now only darkness i can see
