I love the title of this piece. I don't think your writing about actual lambs but that is used as a metaphor. The way I see lambs, I see them as something innocent, something young and vulnerable, especially to predetors. I read the poem and it feels like there's this sad tone throughout the words and it makes me wonder who are these lambs that you speak of? Is it someone you know or is it yourself?

This poem made me think a lot. I loved it!
