A story to tell

by Jade   Jun 2, 2012

Lay me aside,
hold me tight,
The story to tell
such a fright.

Listen closely,
Hear the tears,
For what I weep,
Will tell the years.

Gaze with intense
Feel your empathy,
I only pray,
You hold no sympathy.

Read my heart
through many pages,
So much to come
as I yearn my ages.

Can not grasp it,
What I feel
For what confuses me
seems much to deal.

Words of comfort,
with that soft touch
fill me with light,
it is never enough.

You feel the closest
than any other
My heart strings pull
for you they smother.

Lay me aside
hold me tight,
The story to tell;
a rollercoaster ride.
