Pain

Yesterday our path seemed so clear,

We were held together so strong,

What we had could forever endure,

All the difficulties that would come along.

At this moment we know we are perfect,

When I think of you I smile upon my face,

My hopes and my dreams I give to you,

So much joy there's nothing that can replace.

As it becomes today it feels all lost,

With your words you bruise my heart,

Each breath that is taken hurts so much,

Too much pain I wish it would part.

My walls I wish kept up strong,

So strong to not let you in,

Maybe it wouldn't be so hard,

And a new life for me could begin.

What are your acts and words that hurt me,

When you say you love me and more,
