Matchstick

by Illusion   Jun 28, 2012

I gave you matchsticks
to ignite our light of love,
I gave you enough
to light our love forever,
I gave you the light
that could guide you to wherever,
I believe in you
and I thought no love could be more brighter,
while I play you a serenade
you put our love on escapade,
our love is about to fade
'cos you never count the match you have left
you never even care
'cos you think I still have a match left,
you are heartless and careless
and now you blew out our light of love.
you put our love in darkness
and I can't see the girl I use to love,
I gave you my all
but all you do is blew it all,
you were once my precious
but you are bad enough to prove me wrong,
your sparkling eyes are gone
and not even your beautiful smile,
your jokes are not funny anymore
all your presence bring is darkness,
memories of you are sad
dreaming of you is a nightmare.
and there you are again
begging for another matchstick,
but this you can't regain
'cos I won't fall for all those sad trick,
falling for you again
is like putting my heart at high risk,
I'm so sorry
'cos I won't give you another matchstick...

Found theme to be creative. matchsticks light up love and when they burn out sad. then the confusion of yes no again.
although a tad bit mixed towards the ending(confusing) it is still a nice write.
    keep going...

sorry took so long to visit, but I'm hardly here anymore.
