Wife wanted

by joseph santacruz   Jul 2, 2012

A cat like me has nine lives
I spent the last eight without a wife.
The big house was feeling empty and haunted
so I let it be known there was a wife wanted.
The first cantidate was quickly eliminated
I put her down as cant be dated.
Another prospect reject seemed to be a nitpicker
her problem was obvious she bathed in liquor.
To be my wife really isnt hard labor
just help with the kids and dont sleep with the neighbors.
What do you get in exchange from this mister?
I'll take care of you and not hit on your sisters.
Dont yell alot and be good with a skillet
if your scared by a spider I will step up and kill it.
I'd like a little lady who helps with the chores
and doesnt lay on the couch and her snore constantly roar.
I dont care if you call me your ball and chain
please dont nag and drive me insane.
If I found this woman I could be so devotional
but all the women I meet have so much baggage emotional.
What would you get by becoming my wife?
I'd put you on a pedestal and make you my life.
To find a good woman I think I'm just wishing
so I will find me a happy #ooker I can take fishing!
