Summer Rain

by Yolanda Kaluma   Jul 4, 2012

The beautiful summer rain awakens all my sences at the reminder of you, my once distant lover. The breeze touches my skin, arouses every hair on my body, that was once warmed by your touch. The gentle aroma of the wet ground that has been sprinkled by love from mother nature, after being burnt by the harsh heat has been given a break, the ground you now lay in, my once distant lover. My arms reach out only embraced back by empty atmosphere.

Summer love, the description of our journey, It was late in the year when your intoxicating smile captured my keen eye, way across the room, skipping a beat my heart did when you said hello. A tear escaped from my eye, my heart was immediatly shackled to yours forever till death do us part, and it did.

Summertime... it's rainning again, my tears have no end, mother nature cries with me. I'll take a walk in the rain , if my tears hit the ground, so many miles away do they get to you?

Summer rain, the perfect disaster, my smile mixed with tears, happy to have held and had you. My once distant lover.

As he holds my hand, we run to escape the liquid sunshine, my soul is escaping more than that, she is running back to you. When he smiles at me my lips resist the expression of joy once enduced by only you.

Is it wrong to love another, if you were mine does he belong to another? I loved and lost my love, my life leaps at other hearts for consolation. Every soul rushes to find its belonging. I found one bestfriend, one provider, one shield and one attraction, no one will fit all in one. In you I had my complete one.

Summer rain a season that ends my questions.
