Fire in the Rain

by Muran   Jul 5, 2012

It is night,
The depth of dark,
Left no shadows around,
And you are raining,
Like a torrential storm,
I am drinking your pouring,
To relieve the heat of my heart,
You are pondering over my head,
You wet me completely,
When you rundown through my body,
You are wiping my heat with you,
Bring the lightning to shock me,
Bring the thunders to break me,
Keep on raining my love,
Never bring your lips to my face,
You could set a fire in this rain.

Well written, this poem is so sensual but yet sweet it touches the inner core of the reader. I like your connection with fire and rain both of these are elements that we enjoy whether we are standing in the rain or eating dinner with lit candles. Great write
