Engagement Sonnet

by craig   Jun 28, 2004

Come take this ring and be my life,
Rehearse the vows to be my wife,
Share the years till old and grey,
Never apart, not one single day.
Through tiffs and laughs, sickness and tears,
Joined at the hip, sharing the years,
Come rain and snow and devil high winds,
Come pain and grief we will be thick skinned.
For our love is deep and built on trust,
Respect, kindness, tenderness and lust!
Our foundations will shield us through all times,
I swear to God you`ll always be mine.
And my dying breath, my final farewell,
Will be the words `I Love You Michelle`

Yours for life honey xxx
