The Night is Here

The stars shimmer and sparkle in the dark night sky
As I look up they seem to dance on by
Soft grey clouds cover the full lit moon
The wind whips around me like a silky cocoon
Birds are resting when the bats come to play
Mother Nature's work is done for the day
