I really liked this line in ths poem, thought it fit very well into the topic of the poem, i ghuess our minds are like our piggy bank of thoughts, as poets.. I like that

Surprisingly, I had the feeling like I read the piggy bank of thoughts somewhere, or that I read this poem before. Perhaps, you post this before or use that one another of your poems.

Any who, I like it. The shape looked like a trophy. it was interesting. And the way, you ended it with broken heart, was a nice touch.

You're absolutely right! That was my poem 'Poetry pyramid'. Thanks for your lovely comment.

This is interesting and very cleverly set out. I took the shape to be your poetry angel actually. This is how I saw it with the wings spread out.

    Nice work. x

I like the shape of the poem!

Sometimes poetry does feel like a construction of some type especially if we do formed poems or the shapes like you just did.

    I enjoyed the read!

  • Is this piece meant to be shaped like the angel you write about? If so, nicely achieved.

    'the hostage of the poem'

^^ an interesting line, which rings somewhat true. We capture ourselves, our lives, within our words - we knowingly encase our thoughts, feelings, memories all in our poems.

I particularly loved the ending... >

Look in my Piggy bank thoughts
    for my poetry constituents
    You'll find many things
    a little dream
    some actions
    tears
    and
    a broken heart

^^ It was especially good with the final words of: 'a broken heart'

    Fantastic write. 5/5
