Life Without You

by Janice Herzog   Jul 23, 2012

I spend most of my time trying to forget,
But in my mind I still wonder yet
I think of the life we were to share,
We would have made a perfect pair
I guess your conscious doesn't bother you,
Lying instead, is the best thing you do
I want what you promised to me,
Including the man you claimed to be
You sought me out and won my heart,
And even told me we'd never part
You played with my love like a game,
Now thanks to you, I'll never be the same
