Sappy Stuff

I say what are my funny things.
I write my sappy stuff.
All is done so you're impressed.
But is it all enough.

It seems that I can make you laugh,
But is it all too serious.
Do you really seem to get it.
That I love you so...delirious.

How do you describe a feeling?
Is it a matter of perception?
We're all concerned about how received.
It's all about the conception.

Is what I see as the colour blue,
The same as you see the colour too.
Or is it the idea the we agree,
Approximation of the pure and true.

Sometimes I don't think you understand,
How serious I am with my feelings.
Don't discount my perception of blue.
Don't discount my revealings.
