The Dance

by Unrequited   Aug 3, 2012

She dances in us
all,
all over in my eyes
(a daring art,
awake:alive)
and the shadows
paint her gold,

breathing passion
throughout her soul.
she dances and swoons
| prettily poised |
filling the earth with grace
and bringing movement
to our ageless song

she screams in me,
beats within my heart!
her smile says no more,
words are nothing...

she flows,
our love grows,
as I watch that dancer in
my eyes-
so awake, alive
