Heart Soars

by Stephanie Ball   Aug 6, 2012

Your heart soars,
Thinking the end is near,
Though it's never far away.
Thinking this is the end,
Of a life long love.
Thinking you've worked so hard at such a young age,
For it to end like this.
Loosing one another,
To such an unbearable desire.
Makes you think,
Of yourself,
Of everything.
But for now,
Until you see him again,
You just lay on your pillow,
And let his memories linger in your mind.
That's when your heart soars in your mind.
You realized you've never felt this,
And yet, you're only so young.
Letting your heart do the talking with his.
Remembering every feature about him.
Your heart soars into the sky.
