So sorrowful piece that made me angry and furious of such injustice. BTW this happens everywhere in the world, especially if that murderer has relation to the judge. I've some points:
'Take three innocent lives and what?'
The word 'take' should be replaced with another better word like 'finish' or any other.
'left three families' I think 'leaving' sounds better.
'What were they thinking?' 'What' sounds better if replaced with 'How'
Even in the note I noticed
'This one man was behind the wheel drunk'
    sounds better if changed to
'The man behind the wheel was drunk'

I'm really sorry for those people who died. May they rest in peace.

  • Thank you both so much for your comments.

And thanks Khalid for the corrections. I didn't even think the piece would take much shape to be honest - I just wrote and this is what appeared...

I don't know which part of Australia you are in but...it doesn't really matter because, sadly these stories are across all our states and...although I know we have different laws state to state it would seem that leniency is nation wide.

So many times I drive on roads with all these crosses and...it breaks my heart because most are either speed related or alcohol related...

  • ^^ So true. Something needs to change.

Thank you for your comment Hellon.
    I appreciate it.

Injustice, is the worst insult. Every deed, awaits recompense.
