Dying Day

by Chloe DeWitt   Aug 19, 2012

I feel so bad nowadays,
Not knowing you,
The one I love,
The one I knew.
As you pass me in the halls,
It seems you stare,
You look me in the eyes,
You know i'm there.
It feels good to know,
But hurts to feel,
The love I had for you,
Still seems so real.
The pain shoots through me,
Every single day,
When I see you holding her,
The exact same way.
You look at me with kind eyes,
But i'm afraid once more,
That they'll just be more lies,
Coming ashore.
I miss you so much now,
Seeing you all day,
The same looks,
But no, "Hey".
It breaks my heart,
And stops my air,
To see you keep walking,
Or to climb that last stair.
I stand close to you,
At the end of the day,
I breathe your air,
I'm in your way.
You push me aside slowly now,
Tell me to go away,
This is when I know,
It's my Dying Day.
