Blood Rose (Haiku)

This I beautiful and very clever. It's cool to imagine the state you were in while writing this, all the meaning it could have. Well written (:

Normal in the sence that they find no excitment in their day to day life, and they crave to be something more, or to stand out for some reason or another. A soldier is a great example, we all wear the same uniform, nothing really stands out when you look at us in groups, wich is the ideology of the Army, they love it, but sometimes it makes you feel small and like you loose your sence of self. Standing out in the army is dangerious, when you do great, it means you have made other people look bad, and hurt their chances, but its the price to pay for standing out. Becoming an outcast and people hating you for it dosnt seem worth it, but when you have been just some Joe for so long, it starts becoming more and more important that something about you is differnt than everyone else around you. Where the army is small compared to the civilian population and we stand out when we go home or to a place that is far enoph from base, but that part of the world is small to us, our world is in a uniform dressed like everyone else, and being treated has a number. We grow tired of being average to our peers, and we want to be differnt, so we start to hurt others for our own benifit.

What does that mean? Define normal? Are you normal...Am I? Are we both sane? Well the people who have been institutionalised and released have a certificate to say they are normal and sane but....I don't have a certificate like this...you probably don't either so...where does that leave us?

Replace the rose with a normal person who is tired of being considered normal, and you have the message exactly.

This is quite clever if my interpretation is correct...here we have a beautiful rose but the petals are white...pale. Perhaps it longs to stand out from the others and it takes it's opportunity when someone tries to pick it...for it has thorns which prick and draw blood..now its desire has been fulfilled....loved it haha!!!
