As lovers do....

by Ole Carsten   Aug 21, 2012

I am playing with you as lovers do.
Your eyes are shining warm and gentle,
the emotion being a couple is there.

We are running across the fields through the wheat.
Joy is a part of perfect balance,
Innocent and childish we are playing the day away.

The difference is big from the time walking alone in dark forest,
Sweden is lovely in summer, but harsh alone.
Open minded like children we hide and seek concealing myself.

Rushing along the river, dragged by the dog,
Stella is eager to participate in the game.
You are throwing sticks in the river to watch her jumping in.
The nice barking for more sticks is filling the air.

Summer is sweet, but any time is play time for lovers,
Longing for more like the dog, even I can't as loud.
Even I can't that, I long for the play.
I want to through the next kiss and stick.
