A secret life

by BEglen   Sep 9, 2012

A forbidden love, found and taken
23 years have passed
Once again I am lost in your light eyes

Never thought you would look my way.
Since I first seen you so many years ago
And now you joined me along my way.

This secret we share of a night of play.
Should not come to the light of day.

Though I am free
From 10 years of misery
Cautious I will proceed not to repeat.

You have your obligations
As you've told me
May it never find you here with me.

I brushed your cheek
As you laid in my arms
And watched as you fell asleep
Hoping you were dreaming of you and me

It felt like you belonged
Like you were always here
Like it was just another night
In our regular life

Your loud snore leaves something to be discussed
As I lol
It really is no fuss

You say I am handsome
And you are into me
I have to sit here in disbelief

For as long as this may last
And as shy as we may be
I will share my all

To provide comfort
And a place to fall

I may not have much
But I give you my all
Let's live this one life to it's all
