I could see my self writing a poem like this
where everyone in the world hand to hand march forward, against oppression, and poverty, and for anyone in need.

I truly do love this, for it comes from a beautiful soul.

I adore you. I adore your writing. I adore your strength...

This is why I said Id stand a ball, eat a banana, and clap just to help you smile and laugh, even if it was only for a few minutes. We are always here for you :)

Omgggg Please, can I be take a picture of me standing into my fogged mirror writing this, so you can see what the hell I just envisioned..omgggg I just love the imagery of the first stanza...I dont think you realize what this really looks like, even though you wrote it. So powerful, so creative, loved the opening..

The rest of your lines, just broke my half in two knowing what youre going through, knowing you feel helpless and achey. Just know youre not alone no matter if it feels like it. SO many of us want to help. Just tell us what we have to do.

    ILY!!!! Amazing write!

    Sunny,

I usually see friendship and cringe, I shouldn't judge a book by a cover but sometimes those little badly written friendship poems can drive me mad, I don't find many I like. This was something unexpected (I knew I wouldn't cringe when you wrote one lol!) I just mean it was unexpected that it wasn't to someone, it was a general friendship poem about those special someones and I loved it!

This poem had an enchanted feeling, the mist and mirrors, owls, the hush of "I'm here", almost a fairy tale with a lovely ending.

The last stanza was my favourite simply because we often take for granted those people and in the last year I've definitely found someone who has been there for me through everything and she's my special someone. I don't think I could thank her enough and now that you've written this poem I want to take the time to do so even more. I love owls, LOVE them, I've been wanting to write about owls for a while, they're beautiful creatures with such symbolism.

This poem reminds people they're not alone, someone is always out there for them and they just have to try and see that in a time of need.

I wanna say a lot now, but I dont even know how to put this in words. When I was done reading this, I was soooo touched by it. Living in an unemding pain pulling us down each and every day, but we have to live with it, thats what make things even harder.
Wanting someone's help or support, but unable to say that. Finding someone that can see this without you asking for it, makes you smile when you're sad..

    I love the someone's
    of the world, the ones
    who know when its time
    to step in and say,
I love you, how can I help....

This is the most touching part of the poem, it left me wandering, have I done enough? It made me ghink was I a good person and friend?

This AMAZING piece of yours made me realize something, that I must've realized before.

I wish I could nominate this piece, but now all I can say, I love this, you did an awesome job <3

What I love about this poem is that I can relate to the side of the person that is asking for the help and also to the person that is helping others. I love to be there for my friends when they need me and sometimes I've needed help myself. This poem made me tear up but it's because I can relate to it so much.

    Awesome write hun

Andrea, This is the poetry that makes me smile and makes me realise that there are good beings in the world...

It is a type of poem that everyone reads and thinks, I want to be that person or I want that person to help me.

    Lovely piece
