Star (Where can you be?)

by The Lady of Shalott   Sep 15, 2012

When I wish upon a star...
a star that shines so very far,
My spirit soars,
a yearning roars.
I'm dreaming of
my one true love,
and, oh, how I'm missing,
silently wishing,
with tears that are glistening...
Where can you be?

I'm calling,
broken and falling...
Hoping you'll catch me...
Where can you be?

Hold me, mold me,
Find me, unwind me,
Here I lie breaking.
My whole world is quaking.
I'm crumbling and shaking,
Where can you be?
Will you save me?
