The Meat We All Eat

The Meat We All Eat

Grab a spoon,
and sip your own doom,
tastes so lovely right?
The end is just in sight...

Devour the main course,
sit across from remorse,
feel no sadness,
dessert has yet to create madness!

I'd rather we greet,
even death can pull up a seat,
Would you like to meet?
The table looks very neat...

The meat we all eat,
rots before our teeth,
dig in below the skin,
and you'll soon be dead again...

Pick a knife,
and butter your own life,
goes down so bitter right?
The ending isn't bright...

Scour the main wall,
sitting down the hall,
feel no loneliness,
the host has yet to instill hopelessness!

I'd rather we dare,
even death can pull up a chair,
Would you like to despair?
The table looks very bare...

The meat we all eat,
rots inside our teeth,
dig in below the skin,
and soon you'll be stiff again...
