The Voice

by Nawa   Sep 30, 2012

I walked along an empty street
Moving forward, with no retreat
I held a voice waiting to be unleashed

Forbidden was this path
tainted with so many blood baths
Stories of those who have passed
yet I walked along this menacing path

I fear not the cost I'll pay
Quite, I can no longer stay
All the goodbyes have been made
For I have been waiting for this day
And so I walked along this one way lane

I was one, but now I'm four
And tomorrow there will be more
Men will unite with an unbreakable bond
Courageous, brave, and bold
And they will walk through this daring road

Fear will not hold us anymore
We are an inevitable force
Fighting for our homes
Bleeding for our cause

Tear down this promising road
And we will build a hundred more
So long as faith is our core
and FREEDOM is our call
