Fate Whispers

by Edward Oropeza   Oct 2, 2012

What should I do,
If the snakes crawl on me,
Yet have not known it's name....
I'll stab it to death?

How about the scorpions,
the spiders, Arachnids...
the reptiles and amphibians?

If I would not know them,
They will likely end their fate...

Or else, by my ignorance
I'll suffer my own mishaps...

But when I see you,
though have not known you,
not even your name..
it seems I'm fortunate to disguise
to wear a mask as tamed beast,

counting the moment of chance,
days passing,
clocks ticking,
and here I am,

A prisoner of my own mask,
Time itself charged me behind bars...

of hunting you, yet it's me,
shackled to my own traps.

No regrets waiting for nothing.....
