Sorry is one of those really hard things to say, isn't it?
I like how you portrayed your thoughts here, I so often feel like when things go wrong, I should say sorry but sometimes there are two parties involved and it takes two to make a relationship work.

Really thought provoking stuff and I'm glad you posted something new :P I love reading your writes, they really are exceptional and the strength you portray is astounding.
    Love you

I'd get up to look you in the face for this,
but I must lay on my stomach as I've got
cold rags covering open wounds on my
    back from everyone's unknown beatings.

    - ouch - so the emotion you feel is obvious here and kick starts the poem with showing how you feel betrayed and beaten by those you thought you could trust.

All of you, who marched like Saints
out of my life, question how I could
go on living such stubborn ways.
How can I ignore the responsibilities for
    my actions?

    - I love the imagery of saints marching from your life, I could picture this so clearly like they all got up in arms and walked out leaving you, then having the nerve to questioin how you live your life.

Truth be told, you have no idea
    how my insides are plagued
with infectious thoughts of each one
of you. Each one of you who thought
its easier to end things than to fix them.

    - the truth is it doesn't matter what they think of you, because those who matter to you will stand by you and never walk away from you, and this is who we realise are the people we love and need, the people who are worth fighting to keep.

You have not a clue how I've stayed up
with pencil shavings and bits of eraser
all over my desk as I've tried calculating
    what the true problem was-
    You never told me.

    - great image again of you staying up all night at your desk with a pencil and stationery trying to make sense of what has happened.

So how can all of you who point the finger
wonder why I'm not breaking the ice,
coming forward with "forgive me's", and
begging to fix what use to be the best
    relationship two people could have?

    - it shows here the judgement of others and how quick they are to take sides and assumed wrongly about things they have no idea about.

I can't apologize for things you've never explained.
I can't apologize for your insults and assumptions.

    - this is so true, we cannot take responsibility for other peoples words or actions, although we try so hard to do this.

If you're so worried about hearing an "I'm sorry",
why don't you come forward and for once,
    please just once,
tell ME what you're sorry for and how I hurt you.

    - I like how you capitalized the word ME, it emphasised that it is not you who needs to aplogize it is them who owe the apology to you.

    I don't mean those half-hearted,
    for your convenience,
    to rid your guilt,
    kind of apologies either.

    - And this is just the typical ending it would have been anyway - them to say sorry but not because they mean it, but because they think it will let them off the hook and saying it because they know you want them to, not because they truly are sorry.

Nice work although I noticed your latest poems have been sad which is not so good, but non the less they are a pleasure to read.
