Semblance

by MyHalozChokinMe   Oct 28, 2012

I want a love that erases all the other experiences I've ever known-

That bleeds all over everything, messy, saturating the tissues of my life so thoroughly that I could never know the dried-out feeling of loneliness again.

I want to dilute the sodium of decades that has become a component in my cells.

I can feel this love-

It is just around the corner.

I feel it in my bones.

Realigning, so eager for it to reach me and yet the distance stretches on forever.

Great metaphor of the tissue in this one, " the tissues of my life " this was very clever. I like how you used it dry and wet also to express what your thoughts were.

I like the last few lines being seperated, it shows the meaning of the poem, in that you can fel the love but yet it doesn't feel like it is right here yet, There is something still seperating you from it? Or maybe it is just that you are holding back from receiving it.

    Keep the love poems coming.
