Adrift in this old world

by Mick Murphy   Nov 5, 2012

Adrift in this old world, so war-torn and weary,
Someday and somewhere, we'll meet again
I've missed you Ma-Cush-La, the song in my heart says it over and over, since we've been apart.
Though fortunes may vary, and passions run cold, I've a memory of heaven to guide me on my way,
And sweetheart, someday I'll find you, two sad hearts will gladden
Somewhere a memory will turn into you.
Sweethearts together we'll travel the road that leads onwards forever,
To a heaven for two.
