Direction obscure
Dis heart is alive
For that I am sure

Allured through enchantment
Shared expressions abound
Dis heart is captivated
By adoration so profound

An utterance in disguise
Wrought to entice
Dis hearts compassion
Fraught with sugar and spice

Moments adrift
Created confusion indeed
Dis heart blundered
Under a heavy stampede

Can it be, or is it not
An oasis of uncertainty
Dis heart contemplates
Or masked illusion of surety

Bewilderment stifled the delight
Of loves charted directive
Dis heart submits
To relish the new perspective

Yesterday not forgotten Conflicting today's attachment
Dis heart accepts
Fear supersedes commitment
