Stand Up

by MyHalozChokinMe   Nov 25, 2012

Be a stand-up man-

In a world crowded with the slouched and
the prone. Find the strength of character to
love me and me alone, or the virtue to be
weak and tender, to grasp my hand and
surrender to the notion that strength
comes in numbers.

Be a true heart in this age of deceptions,
pretensions and lies. Find the confidence
to live without the disguise of the actor
who will only fool himself.

Be my lover in this universe that loathes me.

Be the stimulant in this land that sedates me-

That rapes the creativity and originality from my life.

Be the inspiration that drives me inside.

Be the stand-up man for me, this
woman who has only known
the slouched and the prone.

Be a true heart, a defender,
to make me no longer
want to live my life alone.
