Until Your Done

by JoAnna Buskirk   Dec 18, 2012

I've told you how I feel,
With a note and seal.
I thought I made it simple,
That I love every line and every dimple.
Everything about you is what I want
Even though I begin to taunt.
I know these fights are because of me,
But I just wish you could see.
That even after all is said and done,
I would never want you gone.
With you every day,
In your arms I wish I could lay.
In your mind she's there day and night,
If she had her way all we would do is fuss and fight.
You may not see,
That you matter to me.
She sees it all,
And wants our friendship to fall.
She won't stop until she gets her way,
So just listen to what she has to say.
In the end we all know that's the way you'll run,
So why can't we just call this done.
Lets not drag it out,
But I can't say I won't pout.
I'll shed a tear
And just wish I could disappear.
You won't hear me say I want you gone,
Not until the day when you say you're done.
