Beneath the sea of love

by Ole Carsten   Dec 19, 2012

Beneath the sea of love.

I'm not talking about,
Mermaids so fair and pale,
Neither about seaweed waving,
Like and add for a special shampoo,
No I'm talking about the core.

Well I'm a man and have limitations,
There are an amount of skills,
A lot of will and power,
But can a beast think softly,
I believe I can try and try.

Love has many forms and shapes,
Many carve names or just letters in trees,
These will enlarge over the years to come,
Have you ever seen anyone stricken out?
I haven't see that even though about it.

My love is really simple,
It come from the soul of mine,
Yes, I believe in souls of beauty,
Like I believe in Norns and faritales,
Relationship is needed to love?

I knew from childhood that one day,
Even I would found the pure soul to love,
As teenager I had a bubbling feelings,
For a young woman older than me,
It was doomed from the very start.

I suffered like only a teenage boy do,
Many women don't know this, they just see,
Destruction coming in form young kids,
But it is not so, they are mortal in love,
Suffers great pain, but not having skills for love.

Do men accept love for life?
Tricky thing this love, it last forever,
If it is nourished daily,
My love has proven real and unbreakable,
Due to daily refilling of loves fuel.

Back to after teenage years,
Had kids, they test you and your love,
Kids is a pleasure and a curse,
I like my kids but not their mom,
Oh dear, some time it was to break up.

Living alone?
Some people love that,
It has become interesting,
Yet all movies are about the opposite,
I have walked out from cinemas with tears in my eyes,
Due to lack of intense real love,
Have you?

I have know men crying out
Remember the broken hearts; the many secrets,
And the agonizing souls of mental defeat,
I have believed this would never end,
Yet it did for me...

I turned over a from serious man,
To something goofey and strange,
I became nervous, sweating,
Made hundreds of mistakes due to love,
Thousand ideas has gone through, hoping.

This perfect love, and state of mind,
Will last forever...

This is my confession, yours?
