Love on a guitar

by Edward Oropeza   Jan 2, 2013

Do you know what it feels?
Listening to the music your guitar plays,
While I join to sing with you,
A song our heart's chant,

The string on your guitar,
humbly wave its rhytmic tunes,
and its beat accompanied by our heartbeats,
and so the music is consecrated by our love.

You can play guitar in a genre we wish,
we can make it loud, or romantic as it is,
we can even make it dramatic for us to cry.
And your guitar show makes me fell in love with you.

I wish I could be your guitar,
And you are my guitarist,
And so we can share the same tunes,
just like the love we both share.

    @.@!!!

    How sweet is this poem...

"I wish I could be your guitar,
    And you are my guitarist,
And so we can share the same tunes,
just like the love we both share."

^^I love the guitar analogy for two people coming together...
    Harmonious and natural...
Without one another, there would be no music... Beautifully worded.

I also love the way you've set different moods within the poem, just like music sets a tone...as you tell your tail of love...

I had the imagery of a romantic evening playing through your medley of words :)

    Beautiful write Edward

Such a romantic idea for a love poem, nicely worded. Good job.
