A long time ago we fell in love
So very happy were we,
Until one day we parted ways
An ending I did not see.
All alone, I cried for days
Not knowing what I should do,
I could just move on and forget it all
Go out and find someone new.
Moving on would take some courage
I'm not sure I possess,
But going back is not an option
So onward I will press.
As time goes by and my heart starts to heal
I look back and release a sigh,
Realizing it's the best time
To finally say goodbye.
