OMG Chelsey, this was full of emotion, it was desperation, while you were talking of his, I could feel yours...the story you told was of a love that was so strong, that age may have broke, that circumstance may have made it take a different route and the destination is now and time has made you see things differently,

The power and conviction of this piece was strong, and I enjoyed reading this.

Love is a direction that we all follow, with different consequences, and who knows what time can do, what it can change, heal, understand.

The journey I feel while reading this poem is amazing...all your thoughts and past and present self really look back on this time, not regretting but thinking about change. Wow. Really well-penned and something I can pick up wisdom for. I know you shared this quote on your status, and it is the one that speaks to me the most too!

"Love steals your behavior and naturally, you give all you have to the thief."

Reading your poem made me think that when you were sixteen and so innocent, love means this to you, you see him a certain way, but perceptions can shift too.

Thoughtful piece, loved reading this! And you should get started on your novel :] I totally give even more respect for a novel- I've written some short stories but I still have a desire to become dedicated enough to stay with an idea long enough, and develop it.

    Beautiful piece <3
