I'm sorry that I didn't turn out what you expected
I can't change the past and surly the present is dried up
There are no emotions left to spare, for their all gone

Will never be the same or a degree close to it
Regardless of what I do or will do
I believe that one day you'll allow someone to see the beauty inside you again
But I find it hard to believe that I'll see that side of you again
I would like to at least preserve what we still have instead of waiting for it to crumple apart and become dust
What I ask of you, you'll never be able to accomplish once again
I feel that I'm clearly going insane bit by bit, literally day by day, and becoming something that I'm not
I don't want the light in me to die.
