Your Love is a Mystery

by Kiino   Jan 18, 2013

Your love is a mystery.

A secret which riddled
the most genius of minds.

How cunning, or clever
the paramour may be,
your love eludes, it blinds.

Your love is a mystery.

A timid moonflower
Which blooms in eventide.

While inconspicuous,
your love blossoms humbly
to all hearts undenied.

did you by any chance focused on syllable count?

6 syallbles on each line expcet "your love is a mystery" with 7 syllables.

      Thanks :)

As for the syllable count, yes. Somehow im a person who's particular with syllable counts. But sometimes i feel it's really tiresome especially when i write long poems.
