New lessons

by Jade   Jan 26, 2013

Open my eyes and you're not there
Not for those cold mornings
Nor the shameful stare.
The words can't break us so don't doubt
the future we hold high
Will climb with us and shout.
Hold my hand and take a breath
This is the moment
Our of emotional death.

Open my eyes and you're not there
The wind beneath my wings
Feels the freshest of air.
Those scars of impurities;
What I live now let's me fly
Endlessly of love's securities.
The bitter I can no longer taste
I ready myself to jump
As I will forever do in haste.
