Urban Decay

by Story   Jan 28, 2013

Urban decay
Buildings of reckless beginning
Trees amongst forgotten steel
Leaves swaying in black smoke
Black roads grounded by burning rubber
Litter trespassing where grass used to lay
The spoils of a once loved nature
The creation of a mechanical monster
Left in urban decay, trying to find a way through the
chemical mass
Looking for a green blade of grass
Reaching out to an over eager sun

The last bit of hope
