Time is flexible the wrong way

by Ole Carsten   Feb 5, 2013

Dear loved

Today the roads were longer,
Driving the opposite of my heart,
The weather was sad as I,
The skies were grey and snowy,
Like tears cloudy my eyes.

Yet again a Goodbye,
One of hundreds,
See you soon,
Secretly counting seconds,
Hours and days,
Even weeks will be passing.

Love is a strange building,
Once entered is a nice place,
Lots of friendliness on the wall,
Exotic doors to open,
Ceilings painted with dreams,
Food spiced with hope,
Souls twinkled in faith and trust.

Once out and at distance,
The world is almost too big,
I can't really breathe there,
Time pass quickly please,
Let me feel loved again,
Let me be kissed once more,
I have dreams and wishes,
Covering all needs....

This was really good, I like the comparison of love to a building and how when one has it one feels good. But when we don't the world feels so big. Everyone may have their buildings but some may not and what I really felt when I was reading this piece is that you want to be with your love.
